Led by Michelle, our Principal and Specialist Immigration Lawyer 專業移民律師, who has a deep understanding of immigration challenges, we support our clients every step of the way—from visa applications to employer compliance.

Michelle’s family immigrated from Guangzhou, China, to New Zealand nearly 40 years ago. Born in Taranaki, she has lived in cities and towns across New Zealand, giving her an authentic connection to the clients she serves. With extensive travel and cross-cultural experience, Michelle understands the unique challenges faced by migrants and offers compassionate, informed support.

Beyond her law practice, Michelle is involved with and tries to serve her community. She is a Trustee of the Hornby Day Care Trust for the Elderly, a Board Member of YWCA Christchurch, and a member of the organising committee for LinkedIn Local Christchurch. Michelle also played a key role in establishing the Immigration Legal Clinics at Citizens Advice Bureau Christchurch, where she continues to volunteer as an immigration lawyer.

Being able to speak Mandarin and Cantonese, Michelle also offers support for Chinese-speaking clients, making legal guidance accessible and clear.
